Tessellation


Tessellation

Definition of tessellation
A pattern made of identical shapes:
• the shapes must fit together without any gaps.
• the shapes should not overlap.

Here is an example of tessellation:

Glossy / vocabulary
Polygon-Shape.
Vertices-It is when two lines meet together.    
Regular polygon-The sides of the regular polygon are the same
Irregular polygon- The sides of a polygon are not the same.
